Maya Road Mini Album

We had a challenge at Scraptacular to alter this mini album, we could use our own paper, etc. We did have a TIME limit. We were given the albums Friday night and had to have them complete by 8:00 Saturday evening.
I used paper from Stampin Up, flowers from Close to My Heart (which I also stamped a script onto) and the gorgeous butterfly on the front is PRIMA. All the ink used is also Close To My Heart.
Just in case you were wondering, we were dressed up for the crop, which had a Hollywood theme :-)

FNC layouts

I used the Magic Moments paper pack, Butterfly Wings stamp set, Building Block Alphabet stamp set and the Noteworthy stamp set. In this layout, I used the Stardust paper pack, Stardust stickease and you have a little preview of a future stamp of the month!!! :-) Oh, boy, old pictures in this one....I really wanted to do a lo with these pictures, but struggled as they were taken with a film camera and could not edit them...so I found this layout of Jennifer McGuires and scraplifted it. I used the Noteworthy paper pack and stickease.

In this one, I used That's Amore paper pack, some Dazzling Diecuts and the MAY stamp of the month...you will love this set, I promise! I also used the Oxford Color ready alphabet for the title.

World's Best Dad

Here is a card I created with the April stamp of the month. I also scored the blue cardstock, then sanded it. After I ran my inkpad over the sanded parts.

Quality Time

My children are on spring break, enjoying their week off, unfortunately I still have to work. My daughter and I have been spending time in the evenings....way past her bedtime....creating cards. She loves the "lady stamps", using the watercolor pen and Close To My Heart inks to color them in.
I love stamping on patterned paper, then peicing it on my original, making the pp look like clothing.
I used the Ms. Sweetheart stamp set on this card. I used my corner rounder to make my scalloped edges. Also the Ms. Sweeetheart stamp set.
On this edge I used the Lovely Lace stamp set, and paper from the Emporium Level 2 pack. Again, I used the Ms. Sweetheart stamp set.

I rocked and rolled these flowers from the Aspiration stamp set.
On this card I used Happy Endings stamp set. She is so cute! Oh notice the Lovely Lace stamped border, so pretty!
On this card I used Ms. On The Go stamp set and Whoops A Daisy paper pack.

A trip to the circus

Yahoo, I won 4 tickets to the circus!!!!!! 4 tickets in the sky suite...that was so cool! We had our personal "apartment" in the sky! We had our own personal attendant and even our own washroom! LOL! Hey, that's important with 2 children! ;-)
Here is Theo waiting for the circus to start...as you can see we are very high up BUT the suites are pushed out a bit and you almost feel like your right above centre ice, such a fantastic view!
This was my favorite act. This cowboy had two very well trained horses, he called them both MUSTANG! He was so funny! I could not believe how well trained those two horses were! The kids favorite, the elephant...I couldn't help but feel sorry for it. The fabulous WYNN family....DAREDEVILS! WOW!!!! There was so much more, I took 321 pictures, but I thought I might lose your interest if I shared them all! ha ha!!! And a glimpse of our ride home.....a spring storm hit why we were enjoying the circus.....the usual 3 hour drive home, took us almost 5 hours......we could not go more that 60-80 km/hr the entire way.

Back from Scraptacular...with layouts! :-)

HOLLYWOOD was the theme for Scraptacular! What a blast!!!! 3 days of scrapbooking with my friends was sooooo mcuh fun! I also was able to take a Friends acrylic album class, which turned out so nice!!! The week end was full of door prizes and challenges, so well organized! I am going back next year!

A double pager, I used a Tim Holtz mask for the letter. The pp is Crate paper - Lemongrass. Also used some glimmer mist to grunge it up a bit. This page was done for a challenge. We had one hour to complete the layout. We were given a movie quote and had to use that quote on a layout. My quote was from Titanic : "A Woman's Heart Is A Deep Ocean Of Secrets". This was quite difficult as we did not know what quote we were going to get. I used October Afternoon pp , Thicker Letters, and a flower from Prima (don't you love that flower). This next page was gone for the Paprazzi challenge. The challenge was to use 5 photos on a page! We had one hour to complete it. I used paper from Stampin' Up (Thanks Kathy) and Doodlebug flocked letters.
This layout was not done for a challenge, but it is the outfit I walked the "Red Carpet" with! HA HA! That was so much fun! I used Making Memories pp, a Heidi Swapp clock transparency, Doodlebug flocked letters and again, a Prima flower.

Ok, this next page was done for a challenge. We had to complete a layout in a hour with all the materials they supplied for us.
