This week at Heart 2 Heart, we have a sketch challenge for you!

And to step it up, add METAL!

Heart 2 Heart 1-2-3 Challenge

This week at the Heart 2 Heart challenge blog, we had a 1-2-3 challenge...that is use 1 stamp, 2 patterened papers and 3 embellies!

I used the (1)Card Word Puzzle for my stamp, (2)Pemberly paper, and for my (3)embellies I used Bakers twine, Garden color ready wood shapes and a clear sparkle. Nice and simple but all of my favorites from the new catalogue!

 I colored my flower with my blending pen and Twilight ink. After, I used my white daisy marker to add some highlights. Finally, I added Prisma Glitter to the flower and dragonfly. I also inked my dragonfly with a sponge dabber.

All about LOVE at Heart 2 Heart

This weeks challenge at Heart 2 Heart is to create something for someone you love!

I have created a layout for my hubby , I used up the scrap paper that I had left in my Roxie paper pack. (So sad that it's all gone now...it was my favorite) I plan on placing a photo from our date night on Valentines day (hopeing that I get to go lol)

And here are a few cards that I have made for Valentines day!

Thoughtful Tidings

3-D items at Heart 2 Heart this week!

This week's challenge is a little different. Make a 3-D Project! This can be anything you like, but nothing flat like a card. Please remember to include Close To My Heart products in your design.

Note: You have until this Saturday, Feb. 4th at 10:00 pm EST to play along with the January challenges and be considered for a spot in our monthly Top Ten!

This week, I altered a couple of CTMH card boxes.

I used the Roxy paper pack and the color ready CORK alphabet.

 I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that my 4x6 photos fit PERFECTLY in this box! How perfect to store your photos or to transport your photos to a crop! Even a nice gift for Grandma with special photos enclosed!

Heart to Heart Scrapbooking Sketch

Heart to Heart Scrapbooking has a monthly sketch, here is the sketch for this month

And here is my layout:

I used up some older CTMH paper "Magnifique" and added some Flutter Paper Shapes.

For the title, I used my favorite, Color ready Alphabets!!! Just add ink with your sponge dabber and voila, a perfectly matched title for your layout.....that's what I love CTMH!!!

Heart 2 Heart Inspiration Challange

For this weeks Heart 2 Heart challenge, we had to use this picture for inspiration while creating a card, layout, etc

I used the Dreamin paper pack for this layout.

I really wanted to use CTMH cork letters for the title, but I could not find them, so I used this corregated alphabet and blinged it up a bit with Glitz Glitter Gel.

Heart 2 Heart challenge - Week 2

This weeks challenge at Heart 2 Heart is a color challenge!!!

Think snow with these colors: Crystal Blue, Amethyst, White or Colonial White.

Step it up add-on: Add glitter.

It was a blizzarding cold day here and I decided that I was done with snow, so I thought of spring instead!

I did stick to the colors though!

To create by background paper, I stamped my flower images with versamark ink and then clear embossed, after I sponged my two colors over top....treating it as a resist.

I used the Hooray Bouquet stamp set.

It's my very first week as a design Team member for the Heart 2 Heart challenge blog!!!

This week we want to see you use a stamp set that you have never used before!

I created the layout below using the stamp set from the Sonoma workshop on the go, and to further challenge myself, I also used the Sonoma paper.

I have had this paper and stamp set since the fall and have never used it as I am not a great fan of purple. BUT now that I have used this paper and stamp set, do I ever LOVE them both!
