For a Friend

So just recently a great friend of mine has found out she has breast cancer and already has had one chemo treatment. A bunch of us got together tonight and were there to support her as she had her head shaved.
Guess who else did....me LOL! Hey, I've been through it before and it's just hair right? And it's for Sherry. Who I care about so much. She is a great lady with a great attitude and it going to kick cancer in the butt!

From the Window

What a sight! This is a regular sight for my Mom, the deer snack quite often on the seeds that fall from the birdfeeder. I was lucky to snap this photo and quite surprised it turned out so well as the sun was setting and I took it through the kitchen window, screen and all! By the way there were about 5 deer out there, just didn't get them in the shot!

Monthly Kits

So busy today, no time to create! :-(
I had a full day at the bank then after supper had to go to my janitorial job, sigh*.
But still wanted to share a layout or two with you. I created these well before Xmas, but they are two of my favorites. They both use kits from Scrapbooking Fanatics, this is an on line store and offers monthly kits with a Canadian twist! It's my favorite place to hang out! Check out the link for Scrapbooking Fanatics on my sidebar.

Layouts from last week

Valley Girls uses Caprice level 2 paper and stickease! I used the exclusive Key To My Heart promotional paper and stamp set on this layout. I LOVE this paper, I could not wait to use it! I also used color ready alphabet for my title.

New papers, love them all!

On this layout I used Stardust, perfect for boy layouts!

I used Emporium level 2 paper and stickease on this layout as well as the Jan stamp of the month.

Every 2nd week end we have a cyber style crop at Scrapbooking Fanatics. http://www.scrapbookingfanatics.com/ I am proud to be on the Design Team! We post challenges for the week end and award prizes on Sunday.

I love these FNC's as the gallery is amazing with new and creative layouts! It's wonderful to see how different everyone's work turns out!

Here are a few of my creations from this week end.

Clear Album Class

It's finally come!

Tomorrow is my Clear Album Class. It is being held at Further Ed in Elk Point! I am super excited about it!

We are using all Close To My Heart products:

Including the gorgeous Aspen Level 2 paper pack and My Stickease.

I love Close To My Heart's clear album, it's unique shaped pages makes it so much fun!

My 1st official post.

So another chilly day here in Alberta. -34 this morning! Brrrr. Of course, we are not sane enough to stay home where it is warm, LOL. We decided we wanted to get out of the house and Richard wanted to purchase a new Sirius sattelite radio. So off we went to Wainwright, 2 hours away. Not much there but a huge Wal Mart, and of couse, Tim Horton's!
We decided to pick up some rental movies on our way through Elk Point. Hannah picked Tinkerbell, Theo picked Speed Racer and Richard picked Wild Hogs, should be a great family movie night!
