Moon Doggie Layout

This was so much fun, these papers are AWESOME!

Back Country - Double Page Layouts

So today, since I had ALOT of photos to scrap, I thought I would use Jeanette Lyntons' Imagine book. It is such a great resource, you just pick your favorite sketch that suits your photos, and away you go. She has great ideas and cutting instructions!
This first layout, I used the Imagine book - Supporting Cast layout. I used Level 2 Backcountry paper pack and stickease. Also, with quick results, I used the color ready alphabets and dabbed them with the coordinating ink. No wonder Close To My Hearts moto is FASTER, SIMPER, EASIER! In this layout, I also used the Imagine book - Dynamic Duo layout and all the same materials as the above layout.

Again, same materials.....I used the Cherish book - "Rise to the occassion" This also shows you how much you can create with just one Level 2 paper pack and Level 2 stickease...I still have alot of paper left too!

Back Country Layout

This layout uses Back Country Level 2 paper pack and chipboard accessories. The letters are Color Ready Alphabet, I used a sponge dabber and Demin and Barn Red ink to complete them.

Bella - Beautiful Color Combination!

I was not sure about this NEW paper pack - BELLA. Until, I started working with it...such a beautiful color combination! The flowers in the upper left corner are cut out of the patterned paper, crumpled and then inked with Smokey Plum stamp pad.

Happy Canada Day

July 1st is one of my favorite holidays. It's a day that our entire community comes together to celebrate being Canadian.....we are proud to be Canadian!!!!!! We start the day with a pancake breakfast, then a parade. This year we had a jet from CFB Cold Lake do a fly by, yikes, that was loud!
After the parade, everyone gathers up by the arena for great outdoor entertainment and visiting. In the afternoon there was a strong man competition and farm challenge.
In the evening there was a Lakeland Idol singing competition, and then, my favorite, the fireworks! What a great day!

Our girls tied for 1st place in the bicycle parade.
