On Saturday I walked with 2 great friends of mine in the 2009 Edmonton Underwear Affair. It is an event that raises money for research for cancers that hit below the waist. I am an ovarian cancer survivor, so this event is near and dear to my heart. 
The best part was that I could enjoy the day with great friends and my two fantastic kids! :-)

This year there were more than 1,200 people who took to the streets of Edmonton dressed down to their underwear. Together we raised a lot of eyebrows, but more importantly, we raised an incredible $675,000 for research that will ultimately benefit patients at the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton and throughout Alberta.
